Application Summary:
Robotic System to handle a variety of sheet metal blanks feeding a folding machine.
SH166 has ability to pick from 2 stacks, located no either side of the robot, for a total of (4) different blank styles that can be processed at the same time.
ARS supplied the Nachi Robot based system to large scale metal processing facility that previously used only manual method of load.
Goal was to make it simple to implement the system that could process more than 360 blank styles.
System was designed to replace manual process that required 8 operators.
